For our client, we are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead initiatives at the intersection of scalable technology, AI-enabled capabilities, and business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and long-term innovation within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction for DAPI's product architecture including front-end and back-end technologies
- Establish coding standards and engineering practices for the software team
- Manage team capacity and oversee sprint delivery for reliable commitments
- Design and implement integrated AI features in product deliveries
- Collaborate with product and design teams to ensure product alignment and technical feasibility
- Facilitate cross-functional communication with data scientists and product managers on project scope and requirements
- Participate in on-call support and contribute to infrastructure governance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; equivalent practical experience accepted
- 8+ years of professional software development experience with enterprise-scale portfolios
- 2+ years of technical leadership experience in software engineering team
- Expert knowledge in React/TypeScript and C# / ASP.NET Core for system design
- Experience in integrating AI features using Azure AI Services or equivalent platforms
- Strong familiarity with Azure cloud architecture and services such as App Service and Azure Functions
- Proven mentoring skills to develop junior and senior engineers
